Do you want something different in your marriage, family, work, or personal life but just can't figure out how to make it happen? Are you tired of being tired and stressed? Do you feel like you have the same conflcts over and over, with no resolution?

I help individuals discover the patterns and behaviors that no longer work and replace them with new, more productive alternatives. I coach my clients to effectively communicate their needs, alleviate stress, and improve relationships with the important people in their lives.

Entering counseling can be intimidating or uncomfortable. My approach is compassionate, empathic and genuine. I help individuals foster a healthier understanding of themselves and their emotional world that translates into richer relationships with others. I base my marriage and pre-marriage counseling on the work of Dr. John Gottman, a psychologist that has researched marital satisfaction for 30+ years.

Common client issues include anxiety, relationship problems, post-divorce emotional recovery, depression, grief & loss, emotional & verbal abuse, parenting issues, childhood sexual abuse, and postpartum depression. I would be happy to speak with you over the phone to answer any questions.
